Well, it seems I've been on a bit of a little art binge in the last few days? Drew this mostly while visiting my grandparents Monday and Tuesday. Still happy with it, still amazed at how much better my art has been turning out compared to how it used to. The only thing I might note that seems obvious to me is the hand on his hip.. maybe a little small, and a tad awkwardly placed.
Now, for the reasoning behind a redesign. Another DA artist by the name of RickGriffin uses little clothing on his characters and I.. like the idea. *shrugs* Really, if you think about it, anthros have fur, so they have that much less use for clothes. Past that, when I draw clothes onto good sketches, it tends to mess things up anyway. So! I like this and it works well. ^^
Now onto the clothing itself. I figured conventional human cloths would kinda be out of the question, and not the most unique thing. Besides that, everyone comes up with a different way to work around putting the tail through pants, skirts, dresses, and what have you, usually with a hole out the back that the tail would be stuffed through. I've no problem with this unless I think about how much of a pain that would really be from a logical point of view. Think about it. Each time you go to the bathroom, change cloths, etc you'd have to pull your tail out, then put it back in, ruffle fur, pull your tail, and put up with what seems to me to be a general discomfort. Of course... nothing says the wrap like I have here wouldn't be a pain in the arse. >>
*ahem* Apologies for the long commentation.
Ix and art are mine. Dare you steal and.. well... just you wait.
